On Oct. 31 Norwegian Cruise Line celebrated its first-ever voyage from Jacksonville’s JaxPort. The cruise line’s Norwegian Gem set off on a trip to Freeport, Grand Bahama, and the ship will continue to homeport in this North Florida cruise port until April 2026.
Norwegian Gem will offer a range of four- to 12-day itineraries to the Caribbean and the Bahamas while docked in Jacksonville. In addition to serving the new Norwegian Cruise Line ship, JaxPort also is home to Carnival Elation from Carnival Cruise Lines and American Eagle from American Cruise Lines.
