The Slaak Rotterdam, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel opened earlier this month. The property is located within an architectural landmark that once housed a Dutch newspaper. As such, the building’s history with print is reflected throughout the hotel’s design.

The Slaak Rotterdam includes 74 guestrooms, decorated in a mix of greens and yellows accented by marble, wood and brass. A bronze bar is the centerpiece of the 1950s-influenced lobby. Executive guestrooms include private balconies, as do suites.

Didot34 is the hotel’s restaurant and bar with an open kitchen. The hotel regularly hosts jazz nights and vinyl sessions.
