American Airlines is improving its website and app to make it easier for customers to access an electronic wallet, use mobile ID and talk to a virtual assistant in real time.

Customers can find their flight and trip credits stored in an electronic wallet when logging into their AAdvantage account. Customers looking to book new travel can pay for the tickets using their travel credits by selecting flight credits as the payment option. When plans change, customers can alter AAdvantage award ticket themselves online and American will automatically reinstate a customer’s miles.

Chatting with a virtual assistant or customer care representative is also easier in the American Airlines app. Customers can use a chat function to ask the virtual assistant for help — if more detailed information is required, a representative is ready to assist. Other information customers can receive through this function are instant answers on travel guidelines, how to change a flight and how many bags you can check.

As of Oct. 21, American Airlines customers at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport can test a new mobile ID technology that verifies customers’ identities using their mobile phone when dropping off their bags with an agent. Those who choose to participate in the trial will not need a form of ID to hand to the agent, instead they use a third-party app before check-in to create a digital ID that can be used to verify their identity.

Amansara Review

It was more than a car journey; it was a transition between worlds. At our first hotel in Siem Reap, huge coaches constantly pulled up outside the lobby to deposit or receive international tour groups; we departed in very different style, in a 1965 black Mercedes limousine once owned by King Sihanouk. The mundanities of mass tourism were left behind. We progressed through the chaotic Cambodian streets in regal comfort and soon arrived at a solid gate.

Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection Review

I am looking out at Vietnam’s largest city from the country’s tallest building. Sitting in a comfortable chair facing the floor-to-ceiling window, I have taken in the view in daylight and darkness at dusk and dawn. It’s ever-changing and always hypnotic.
