The fifth and latest addition to the Balearic boutique lodging collection OD Hotels is OD Barcelona, set within the city’s central L’Eixample district. The new property, the first Spanish mainland hotel opened by the group (and already the recipient of the Top Sustainable Hotel Development Project in Spain at Re Think Hotel 2017), offers a total 98 rooms and suites. Of the five suites, the Grand Suite provides a singular luxury experience in the form of a private terrace and swimming pool with exceptional views of the city.

Inside the light-filled space, guests find furnishings and lighting fixtures by Mies Van Der Rohe, Joaquim Ruiz Millet, F.J. Barba Corsini and Charles and Ray Eames. Though the hotel is within strolling distance of famous city sites such as Sagrada Família, Plaça de Catalunya and the Passeig de Gràcia, guests have use of one of OD Barcelona’s fleet of smart cars. On-site dining options include the lobby bar, rooftop terrace with music provided by local and guest DJs, and a full-service restaurant serving regional specialties with a focus on Spanish products.
