With the goals of reducing stress, improving sleep, enhancing focus, boosting mental clarity and bolstering personal connections, guests can relinquish their mobile devices to lockable Yondr boxes strategically placed near the dining table, and explore conversation cards designed to promote real-time connections. Other “unplugged” options include board games and creative activities; phone-free guided hikes and adventures; holistic wellness treatments; and mindfulness practices such as mediation, yoga and nightly sound healing sessions.

Six Senses Kanuura, the Maldives

At Six Senses Kanuhura, in the archipelago of islands that make up the Maldives, guests can take part in “Mindful Stargazing” Noctourism Wellness activities, which combine guided, soothing meditations with stargazing. Telescopes pointed toward specific locations within the heavens are set toward planets, stars and other celestial bodies. Also new is the launch of Female Wellness programming, which targets women at various stages of their lives with three-, five- or seven-day journeys. Itineraries are constructed to teach life tools designed to balance, relax, enrich and fuel both mind and body.

Travelers seeking an immersive spa getaway can head to Six Senses Con Dao, about 45 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City, in Vietnam, where a new, 100,000-square-foot spa complex opened. Created within 4 acres of verdant tropical foliage with nine over-water structures, the new facility is ideal for unwinding and rejuvenation. Treatments and therapies derived from traditional Vietnamese wellness practices are incorporated into the menu. Guests are provided with a wellness screening to assess their personal needs, with suggested treatments based on comprehensive biomarker evaluations.

Along with dedicated Ayurvedic and Thai massage facilities, spaces at Six Senses Con Dao include a beauty parlor and relaxation lounge. There’s also a Biohack Recovery Lounge, where the resort’s Resident Biohacker offers a blend of technology and tradition that features compression therapy, pain relief and tension release therapies. Additionally, Eat with Six Senses provides a menu of seasonal organic fare, much of which is derived from local waters and the resort’s own collection of organic growing spaces.
