Travel to Myanmar is getting a little easier for travellers from six countries, whose citizens will be able to receive visitor visas upon arriving in the country.
Beginning Oct. 1, travellers from Russia, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Australia and Italy will be able to travel to Myanmar and obtain a visa upon arrival. The visas will be valid for one year.
Guests can receive visas from Tangon International Airport, Mandalay International Airport and Nay Pwi Taw International Airport.
Through Sept. 30, Chinese tourists are able to enter Myanmar with a standard passport.
