The art of shaking and stirring will be celebrated Feb. 10–12 at the third annual For the Love of Cocktails event, presented by Back Bar USA at locations throughout downtown Las Vegas. The event is presented in conjunction with MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment, and will include author-mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim. A Grand Gala with live entertainment will be held Feb. 12 on the 64th floor of the Delano Las Vegas at Alain Ducasse’s Skyfall Lounge, with more than 25 mixology stations hosted by local, national and international bartenders.
Among the events: Meet the Masters of Cocktails at Bound lobby bar at The Cromwell Hotel & Casino; Meet the Masters of Wine at Giada (also at The Cromwell) with a 5-star, five-course meal by chef-restaurateur Giada De Laurentiis; and Meet the Masters of Distilleries at High Roller at The LINQ Hotel & Casino with an after-dinner seminar presented 550 feet above the city. Other activities include a Downtown Bar Crawl exploring the city’s growing cocktail culture with plenty of live music and stops at venues including Velveteen Rabbit, Park on Fremont, Atomic Liquor, Therapy, Bin 702 and Herbs & Rye. USBG Cocktail Truck Wars, brand micro-experiences and seminars round out the events.
