Millennium Hotels and Resorts opened its first Turkish property last week, the Millennium Istanbul Golden Horn Hotel. The 127-guestroom property is located near the primary inlet of the Bosphorus, providing guests with easy access to the famous waterway.

Other nearby attractions include the Kariye Mosque and Museum, the Balat neighborhood with its UNESCO-recognized Ottoman homes, Pierre Loti Hill and several churches and synagogues. Atatürk International Airport is only a nine-mile drive.

Common spaces include a modern fitness center, luxury spa, Turkish hammam, business center, meeting rooms and ballroom.

On-site dining includes Keros, serving innovative international cuisine and Turkish favorites, and Tekfur, a steakhouse with views of the Golden Horn. The Kathisma Private Dining Room offers an experience designed after the Byzantium period.
