Maroma, A Belmond Hotel, Riviera Maya returned in summer 2023, and now the property announces the launch of the brand-new Maroma Spa by Guerlain, marking the first spa by Guerlain in Latin America. The spa menu offers exclusive and innovative Guerlain treatments that draw inspiration from Mayan culture.

All spa healing rituals find inspiration from the four elements — fire, water, earth and air — and the sacred Melipona bee, revered by the Mayans for more than 3,000 years as a symbol of spiritual resonance. Additionally, destination-inspired treatments can be booked, like the Purifying Cenote, which soothes and nourishes skin. Unique offerings include Underwater Meditation, an immersive Temazcal ceremony, daily workshops, yoga and an on-site apothecary.
Maroma and Guerlain help support the endangered Melipona bee in many ways, such as expanding resident hives and introducing Guerlain’s Bee School and Women for Bees programs into local communities.
