Mandarin Oriental expects to open its new luxury hotel and branded residences in London’s Mayfair district in 2021.

The Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London is planned as a boutique property with 50 guestrooms and suites, topped by 80 residences. Also planned are a fine-dining restaurant, lobby lounge, bar and roof terrace with views of Mayfair.

The Residences at Mandarin Oriental are dubbed “some of the most exclusive private homes in the city,” and offer owners an indoor pool, fitness center, spa and all the luxury hotel amenities offered to travelers, including room service, housekeeping, valet parking and concierge service.

“We are delighted to be opening a second Mandarin Oriental property in London, and look forward to extending the group’s legendary hospitality to another of the city’s most exclusive addresses,” said James Riley, group chief executive, Mandarin Oriental. “Operating two complementary hotels in a single destination is something that the group has already done successfully in Hong Kong.”

The development is located between Bond and Regent Streets, on Hanover Square, surrounded by London’s finest residential, retail and fashion districts. The Bond Street Cross Rail station on Hanover Square opens next year, making rail connection across London convenient and whisking passengers from Mayfair to London Heathrow Airport in as little as 30 minutes.
