Malaysia Airlines recently added a new perk to its Enrich frequent-flyer program. A “miles accelerator” feature allows members to purchase miles or top up an existing miles balance.

Members may now purchase a minimum 1,000 Enrich miles or maximum 50,000 Enrich miles per transaction. A total of 150,000 Enrich miles are available per year.

The purchased miles are useable immediately to redeem award flights on Malaysia Airlines, airlines in the oneworld alliance and Enrich partner airlines. Purchased miles are also useable for seat upgrades, in-flight shopping and lounge access.

“Enrich is excited to bring this accelerator feature to our members that gives them the flexibility and more options in accumulating miles. We are proud to be introducing this service via our partnership with Loylogic, in our continuous efforts to enhance our offerings to our members. With the Enrich Buy Miles platform, nearly four million Enrich members are now able to top-up their Enrich Miles balance online with just a few clicks, at their own convenience, at any time any day. This empowers our members to have more control over their rewards experience and enjoy more of what Enrich has to offer,” said Lau Yin May, head of customer experience, Malaysia Airlines.

In celebration of the new service, Enrich members receive 30 percent more bonus miles when purchasing miles through July 31.
