Morgans Hotel Group will introduce its first hotel in London next month with the opening of Mondrian London at Sea Containers. Expected to open its doors Sept. 30, the first-ever Mondrian-branded boutique hotel outside the United States will be located inside a retro 1970s ex-office complex on London’s revitalized South Bank within walking distance of the Tate Modern and Borough Market. Features include 359 guestrooms and suites, two bars, a restaurant and a spa. The hotel offers more than 5,500 square feet of stylish venues for meetings, groups and special events as well as a 56-seat screening room. Morgans Hotel Group currently operates Mondrian hotels in New York, Los Angeles and South Beach and plans to debut in Doha and Istanbul in the future.
