While the lazy days of summer keep rolling right along, so does the lazy river at Kingsmill Resort in Virginia. The award-winning activity is beloved by families and visitors of all ages.

Since the beginning of July, Kingsmill Resort welcomed guests looking to cool off in the pool, get out on the green for a round of golf and sip cocktails that transport them to the tropics.

The lazy river is a visitor favorite — the purified, flowing water can pick up speeds equivalent to a slow walk.

Guests can grab snacks and drinks by the pool, indulge in some ice cream with the kids or an adult beverage with your partner and enjoy the resort’s low-key atmosphere.

Virginia is currently in the third phase of reopening, meaning the River Pool will operate at 75 percent capacity on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests must also bring their own towels, member ID or resort ID to use resort amenities. The slide and hot tub will be closed and there will be no floats or tubes in the river or pool.
