LATAM welcomes Airbus A350 back into its operation schedule for the United States.

Two of its non-stop flights to Sao Paolo, Brazil (GRU), will be operated using the A350-XWB. The flight will depart from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport Sept. 30, and from Orlando International Airport Nov. 15.

The change of the aircraft on these routes maintains the fulfillment of the carrier’s vision for sustainability. The A350 design successfully reduced the weight of the aircraft itself, allowing up to a 25 percent reduction in fuel requirements. The changes maximize operational efficiency, minimizing impacts on the environment.

The new aircraft offers the widest business-class seats in the carrier’s fleet, the quietest cabin among twin-aisle aircraft and full LED lighting with 16.7 million different colors for personalized ambience — aimed at reducing jet lag.
