LATAM Airlines plans to launch a new non-stop service between Orlando, Florida, and Bogotá, Colombia, July 1. The route offers passengers a new way to reach Colombia and further connects passengers to the web of international destinations LATAM Airlines Group has in South America.
“The launch of this new route between Orlando and Bogotá is crucial to the expansion of our network from the United States. We are excited to provide a gateway for the American market to not only explore Colombia, but to also take advantage of our connectivity to travel within South America,” said Paola Penarete, vice president, North America, Mexico, Caribbean and Asia, LATAM Airlines Group.
The new route will be the second between the United States and Colombian markets. Flights will be sold with a morning itinerary departing Bogotá at 10:15 a.m. to Orlando. In the evening, flights depart Orlando and return to Bogotá at 4:47 p.m. The flight lasts just more than four hours with an Airbus A320 aircraft.
The announcement of the new route comes on the heels of the approval of the Joint Venture with Delta Air Lines in September 2022. This initiative seeks to improve travel experiences for passengers and cargo customers throughout the United States and South America.
