The popular Las Vegas slogan, “What Happens Here, Stays Here,” is coming to a beer near you. Debuting this weekend, Las Vegas will unveil its limited edition #WHHSH Beer at a Palm Springs, Calif.-area music and arts festival.
#WHHSH Beer is the first of Las Vegas’ #WHHSH products to be introduced. These products allow the city to extend its appeal beyond the destination and engage new audiences with a tangible extension of the Vegas experience. The famous WHHSH marketing campaign, which debuted in 2002, remains one of the world’s most recognizable marketing campaigns.
Tenaya Creek Brewery crafted #WHHSH beer locally in Las Vegas. The easy drinking pale ale features hints of citrus and pine with a clean finish, and is available only at select Las Vegas-sponsored events.
“#WHHSH Beer captures the energy and excitement of Las Vegas,” said Cathy Tull, senior vice president of marketing, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. “We are thrilled for the Las Vegas brand to continue to evolve and expand with the creation of our signature #WHHSH products.”

It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport. Airliners were required to bank sharply at the last moment, dodging hills and apartment blocks to line up with a runway jutting out into Kowloon Bay. The airport is long gone, but international visitors are arriving at Kai Tak again, albeit more sedately. Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.
