These properties join the group’s existing hotel in Xiamen, The Langham, Palace. At The Langham, Xiamen, Seaworld, which will occupy the larger of the two towers to be built, guests will enjoy scenery from the point of check-in thanks to a sky lobby occupying the hotel’s top floor. The Langham’s Grand Ballroom will be a feast for the eyes, measuring at 9,472 square feet and set to be one of the largest private facilities of its kind in the city.  The hotel will also include a branch of the famous Palm Court, the original iteration of which has been at The Langham, London, for 150 years now.

The Langham, Xiamen, Seaworld will also be home to an expansive branch of the brand’s Traditional Chinese Medicine-informed wellness hub, Chuan Spa. Patrons can access the platform’s full suite of signature treatments, while guests can enjoy additional access to various Chuan Wellness in-room offerings such as the Sleep Matters turndown kit.

The second tower will also house Langham Hospitality Group’s first mainland China branch of Ying’nFlo, the latest hotel brand catering to the young and young at heart.

“We are delighted to see such strong interest in our brands, which is a testament to our success in elevating them to capitalise on the recovery in China’s hospitality sector,” said Bob van den Oord, CEO, Langham Hospitality Group. “The Langham, Cordis and Ying’nFlo will serve as iconic additions to Xiamen Seaworld, a visionary complex that we are proud to be part of. They will also bolster our presence in a wonderfully vibrant city that continues to show great promise.”

There are a few words that come to mind when the subject of airport hotels comes up. Usually, fun, cute and lively aren’t on that list. When general manager Evgeny Vreijling or his team members welcome guests, they insist Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is not an airport hotel but a hotel that happens to be near the airport. He also emphasizes that, while Amsterdam is regarded as the gateway to Europe, the hotel was designed to be a gateway to the rest of the Netherlands.
