Executive Head Chef Anshu Anghotra oversees the kitchen, bringing his impressive resume to bear on dishes that include Lebanese Kafta Meshwi and the 15^th-century classic British dessert “Poor Knights of Windsor.” Award-winning U.K. design firm Blacksheep drew on the area’s colorful history as inspiration for the interior, warming the 1800s Edwardian mansion with leather, oak, brass and leaded glass glazing. Along with breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea, there’s a cozy bar where you can relax with perfectly proper cocktails that include the Stiff Upper Lip and Cambridge Claret Cup. Lanes of London is open seven days a week, with private dining space to accommodate meetings or exclusive gatherings.
