Korean Air extended its codeshare partnership with LAN Peru to offer passengers better connections between Lima and Seoul and allow for greater passenger traffic between both countries and the continent. Under the terms of the new agreement, the two airlines codeshare on a Seoul (ICN)–Los Angeles (LAX)–Lima (LIM) route. Korean Air passengers can connect at Los Angeles onto LAN Peru flights to Lima while LAN Peru passengers will be able to travel on Korean Air between Los Angeles and Seoul.

“We are very happy to implement this agreement, which allows us to further expand the company’s connectivity network and provide our passengers with more direct access to Asian destinations via Seoul, besides increasing passenger traffic from, to and within Peru,” said Felix Antelo, CEO, LAN Peru. “This country has certainly been growing economically and has a privileged geographic location that turns Lima into one of the most important hubs for LATAM Airlines Group and the region.”
