JW Marriott opened a new property on China’s Holiday Island. JW Marriott Sanya Haitang Bay is the brand’s second resort on Hainan and 18th in Greater China.

The property is less than an hour’s drive from Sanya Phoenix International Airport and near many attractions, including Sanya Haichang Fantasy Town, Nanshan Temple and Wuzhizhou Island. The property itself boasts a long, private beach and elegantly landscaped gardens filled with stone and water features. The resort encompasses more than 150 guestrooms and villas, from 735 square feet in size up to 7,180 square feet.

On-site dining includes JW Kitchen’s all-day, open-concept restaurant and the JW Lounge, serving signature cocktails and international wines. JW Garden offers fresh, farm-to-table experiences and cooking classes.
