JetBlue Vacations studied travelers’ vacation plans for this year’s spring break to find the most popular destinations. In comparing the top destinations for 2021 spring break travel to the top destinations for 2022 spring break travel, JetBlue Vacations offers some inspiration for those looking for a last-minute trip this spring.

This year’s top destinations for 2022 spring break travel, in order, are:

  1. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
  2. Aruba
  3. Cancún, Mexico
  4. Las Vegas, Nevada
  5. Orlando, Florida
  6. Montego Bay, Jamaica
  7. Fort Lauderdale, Florida
  8. Nassau, Bahamas
  9. San Juan, Puerto Rico
  10. New York City, New York

Last year, the top destinations for 2021 spring break travel, in order, included:

  1. Fort Lauderdale, Florida
  2. Cancún, Mexico
  3. Orlando, Florida
  4. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
  5. Aruba
  6. Los Angeles, California
  7. San Juan, Puerto Rico
  8. Montego Bay, Jamaica
  9. Fort Myers, Florida
  10. New York City, New York

JetBlue Vacations found Punta Cana earned the top spot for 25–35-year-olds, as well as vacationers under 24. Cancún took the second spot for the second-most popular destination for 25–35-year-olds and those under 24. Travelers over 35 prefer Aruba, marking it as the place to spend time with families and partners.
