For the third year, JetBlue brings its premium Mint service to Palm Springs (PSP) for the holiday season. Routes from New York (JFK) depart daily, Dec. 21–Jan. 3. It is the only lie-flat service available to and from the city, and JetBlue carries more passengers between the two destinations than any other airline. Since 2016, the number of passengers on the route grew by 48 percent.
Flights depart New York at 6:30 p.m., arriving in Palm Springs at 9:46 p.m. Return flights leave the West Coast at 10:58 p.m., arriving at 6:59 a.m. the following day.
“With Palm Springs Mint flights our customers looking for a West Coast warmup or an East Coast escape can elevate their travel experience this holiday season with lie flat seats, tapas style dining, curated wines and much, much more. Nothing says style and service like JetBlue Mint between New York and Palm Springs,” said Marty St. George, executive vice president commercial and planning, JetBlue.
“JetBlue’s addition of its successful Mint premium experience during this important flight period underscores the personalized service and luxury that defines both the airline and the visitor experience in Greater Palm Springs. For a third season, JetBlue will be bringing easy, nonstop access for our East Coast travelers, delivering visitors to our oasis feeling relaxed and pampered and ready to enjoy our perfect weather, outdoor adventure, world-class events and more,” added Scott White, president and CEO, Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau.
The Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau celebrates the service with a JetBlue giveaway. The winner receives round-trip travel from New York to Palm Springs, for the 2018 Palm Springs International Film Festival in January. Accommodations and festival tickets are included. The Bureau plans to release more details regarding the giveaway on its social media channels in November.
