InterContinental Hotels & Resorts announced a Worldly Classics Cocktails program created in partnership with renowned mixologist Angus Winchester.

The selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks offer a surprising twist on the familiar cocktail, inspired by the culture and heritage of the brand’s destinations around the world and the Golden Age of luxury travel.
Winchester created 11 distinct cocktails embodying elegance and attention to detail. Examples include the Brazilian Smash, a caipirinha inspired by the InterContinental Sao Paulo Hotel; French Moto, a sidecar inspired by the InterContinental Paris le Grand Hotel; Hong Kong Mule, a Moscow mule inspired by the InterContinental Hong Kong Hotel; and Indonesian Nu Fashioned, an Old-Fashioned inspired by the InterContinental Bali Resort.
“With InterContinental Hotels & Resorts properties’ impressive roster of culinary outlets helmed by distinguished chefs like Gordon Ramsay at InterContinental Bordeaux and Theo Randall at InterContinental Bangkok, I’m honored to be in such great company,” said Winchester. “When I was approached to create the Worldly Classics cocktails, it wasn’t difficult to gain inspiration from the brand’s rich 70-year history of uncovering new, emerging destinations, and the stories that make the hospitality group so unique.”
