InterContinental Hotels Group just signed a deal with Ho Tram Project Company Unlimited to change the face of the Ho Tram Strip.
The agreement brings an entirely new hotel to the strip as well as rebranding a landmark hotel in the area. First, InterContinental Hotels Group is rebranding The Grand Ho Tram to the InterContinental Grand Ho Tram. Then, within a year of the completed rebranding, a new Holiday Inn Resort Ho Tram Beach will open. The goal is a 2020 opening for the new-build property.
Ho Tram Strip was one of the first integrated resorts to debut in Vietnam. It was cemented in place as one of the country’s most popular leisure and off-site meeting and incentives destinations. A short drive from Ho Chi Minh City, the resort area is accessible for locals and international visitors.
Together, the new property and rebranded property bring more than 1,000 rooms to the strip. Each property will offer many dining venues and event spaces. The rebranded Grand Ho Tram includes three dining venues, 533 rooms, a state-of-the-art convention center and plenty of recreational activities, including a spa, golf course, casino gaming floor and more.
