Incheon International Airport recently announced it won two awards in the 2025 World Airport Awards from Skytrax. The airport topped the list as World’s Best Airport Staff and Best Airport Staff in Asia Pacific.
“This award represents the hard-earned result of the unified efforts of our 94,000 on-site employees, all committed to making Incheon airport the world’s leading service-oriented airport,” said Mr. Lee, president and CEO, IIAC. “Moving forward, we aim to drive a comprehensive digital transformation in airport operations to provide even more differentiated services, ensuring a safer and more convenient airport experience.”
United Kingdom-based Skytrax aviation consulting firm is well-known for its annual evaluations of airport and airline service quality. Its awards are based on customer satisfaction surveys that rate key services like check-in, arrival, transfer and shopping. For Incheon’s award, ratings factors included staff professionalism, customer service quality and service consistency.
Incheon is committed to providing customized services, the airport now offers a multilingual translation app that offers real-time, free translation services in almost 20 languages, including English, Chinese and Japanese. Later this year, IIAC will roll out AI-powered service robots to offer real-time translation, directions, photo services and more.
