Late last month, InterContinental Hotels Group and China Sands Ltd., announced The Venetian Macao and The Parisian Macao became InterContinental Alliance Resorts. The Londoner Hotel, set for a 2020 opening, will join the alliance when it opens.
InterContinental Alliance Resorts works with properties like those in Macao to offer luxury resorts and rewards to IHG Rewards Club members. The first alliance resort, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, has been part of the program since its launch in 2012.
The new properties in Macao bring the total eligible rooms in the country to more than 5,000.
When properties join the alliance, they continue to offer bespoke experiences while enjoying top-level marketing and exposure through official IHG channels, including intercontinental.com.
