Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced a new Hyatt brand hotel is slated to open in Malta in 2021. In a franchise agreement with Bay Street Holdings Limited, the first Hyatt hotel in the European country will be located in Saint Julian’s. The stunning coastal town will house the soon-to-be 153-room resort with services and amenities fit for families, business travelers and everyone in between.
The location couldn’t come at a better time for travelers or the resort franchise, as Malta is be becoming a regular industry hot spot. Steadily gaining popularity among high-end business and leisure travelers each year, Malta’s tourism numbers doubled since 2010. St. Julian’s is also a convenient hub for travelers, as it’s close to great shops, restaurants, downtown entertainment and easy beach access.
The all-new resort will be a 20-minute drive from Malta International Airport and the UNESCO World Heritage City of Valletta.
Guests looking for multipurpose rooms to host meetings and events, look no further than the new hotel, as it plans for a five-story underground car park and flexible rooms for a myriad of occasions.
