Set in the Greater Bay Area of southern China, the new Hyatt Regency Hengqin offers nearly 500 guestrooms, six restaurants and ample meeting and event space. The property is near Lionsgate Entertainment World, National Geographic Explorer and the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge.

Of the 493 guestrooms, 55 are suites, ranging from 430 to 2,583 square feet. Regency Club guests receive access to a club lounge with complimentary concierge service, dining and meeting space.

The six on-site dining options include Market Café, a self-service, market-style restaurant with live cooking stations; La Cucina, an Italian and European eatery; The Lounge, serving tea, coffee, cocktails and snacks; Xiang Yue, a Cantonese restaurant; Pool Pavilion, for al fresco dining and craft cocktails; and the 180 Degrees Rooftop Bar, located on the hotel’s 23rd floor and providing views of Hengqin alongside wine, cigars and music. The latter three spaces open in early spring.

The 40,440 square feet of meeting and event space includes a ballroom for 1,300 guests and event venues with open kitchens.

Guests also enjoy access to Camp Hyatt, a children’s club set to open in early spring; a 24-hour fitness center; indoor and outdoor swimming pool; and spa with six treatment rooms.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of Hyatt Regency Hengqin,” said William Yuen, general manager, Hyatt Regency Hengqin. “As a new, international branded hotel in Hengqin, Zhuhai, we are excited to offer superior comfort and excellent service at a convenient location.”

Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.
