Hyatt Hotels Corp. will grow its presence in Latin America with plans to open five new Hyatt Place hotels in Central America and Mexico. Slated to open in 2015 in Nicaragua’s capital city of Managua, Hyatt Place Managua will feature 140 guestrooms and suites located next to Galerias Santo Domingo, Managua’s premier shopping center approximately 20 minutes from Augusto C. Sandino International Airport. Hyatt also plans to open two hotels in Honduras in 2015, including the 126-room Hyatt Place Tegucigalpa approximately seven miles from Toncontin International Airport and the 138-room Hyatt Place San Pedro Sula in Honduras’ second most populous city 10 miles from Ramon Villeda International Airport. Expected to welcome guests in 2016, the 140-room Hyatt Place Guatemala will be situated 10 minutes from La Aurora International Airport and the 140-room Hyatt Place San Salvador will be located 10 minutes from the U.S. Embassy in San Salvador and 30 minutes from El Salvador’s International Airport.
