Two properties totalling more than 550 rooms are coming to Ho Chi Minh City, an announcement from Hyatt revealed.
The development is the result of an agreement between Xuan Mai Sai Gon Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and another Hyatt affiliate. The properties, 300-key Hyatt Place Saigon and 250-key Hyatt House Saigon, are both located in the city’s seventh district.
The project is a dual-branded project, and the first of its kind for Hyatt in Southeast Asia. The projects are integral to an upcoming project, Eco Green Saigon. The 34-acre mixed-use development includes residential units, office space, event space and a primary school.
“With this signing, Hyatt is set to more than triple its brand presence in Vietnam over the next few years, and we are delighted to now offer locals and travelers additional accommodation options across the country, as well as have an opportunity to further solidify Hyatt’s brand presence in Ho Chi Minh City,” said Patrick Finn, senior vice president of development, Asia-Pacific, Hyatt.
The properties are projected for completion in 2023.
