HX Expeditions launches a new Greenlandic culinary program this month. In partnership with Chef Inunnguaq Hegelund, the program highlights regional dishes through menus crafted by top Greenlandic chefs aboard select sailings.

By sourcing ingredients locally and collaborating with community suppliers, we’re creating a truly authentic culinary experience that highlights the unique beauty of Greenland.”

The program officially kicks off May 24 aboard MS Fridtjof Nansen. Chefs bringing their unique expertise and creativity to the sailings include Laasi Biilmann, Eli Nuka Johansson and Jørgine Tobiassen.

Another facet of the program revolves around sustainability and hyper-local offerings. HX is committed to sourcing 30 percent of its products from local suppliers, including meat, seafood, product and beer, ensuring a fresh and authentic dining experience for guests. HX partners with Qajaq Brewery in Greenland, offering the craft brewery’s beers as part of its all-inclusive drinks selection. Founded in 2015, the brewery utilizes local ingredients to produce unique brews.

The 2025 program will be available through September.
