Mondrian Doha Bridge

With enough glitz and glamour to make Las Vegas look dull, the brand-new Mondrian Doha opened in the West Bay area near Lagoona Mall and Lusail City. Under the umbrella of sbe, a privately-held lifestyle hospitality company, Mondrian Doha was designed with the help of renowned Dutch designer Marcel Wanders and South West Architecture. Wanders’ first Middle East project has 270 rooms, including 59 opulent suites. Guests will find hand-painted One Minute Delft blue vases, floating staircases and custom-designed Dewan Majlis sofas throughout the hotel.

Four restaurants — Walima, Hudson Tavern, Morimoto and CUT by Wolfgang Puck — offer guests choices of local and internationally inspired dishes. Additionally, there’s Magnolia Bakery in the lobby area, and two cocktail lounges, Rise and Black Orchid. There’s an entire floor dedicated to entertainment with a nightclub, rooftop swimming pool and SKYBAR. For meetings and events, planners can reserve the lavish, ground-floor Moonstone Ballroom, with additional flexible function spaces and a full-service business center. The new hotel is also home to the largest ESPA wellness center in the world, with a 2,000-square-foot spa and hammam facilities.
