Hong Kong boasts a booming arts scene no matter what time of year, but 2025 is a special one thanks to new exhibitions, events and tours highlighting Hong Kong’s rich culture and arts. Here’s what’s hitting the destination in the world of art this year:

A Night at M+ Museum

M+ at night returns this year, transforming Hong Kong’s premier museum into a masquerade party. Inspired by photography exhibition “Yasumasa Morimura and Cindy Sherman: Masquerades,” this edition invites visitors to explore themes of imagination, identity and reinvention — all under the lights of the West Kowloon skyline.

Street Art Tour with Wanderlust Walks

This tour goes beyond simply knowing the locations of art and learning about the names of artists. Rather, this tour delves into the techniques, artists’ backgrounds and stories behind the walls. This eight-person tour gives an intimate and authentic peek into the city’s vibrant art scene, in which each participant gets headphones and a receiver to get the most out of the experience.

New ASMR Exhibition

Taking the internet by storm, ASMR is a trend focusing on how sound, touch and movement can trigger calmness or euphoria. Until July 13, Airside displays Weird Sensation Feels Good: The World of ASMR exhibition. The exhibit will showcase more than 40 works by AMSRtists and designers, as well as newly commissioned works by local artists capturing Hong Kong’s unique auditory identity. There’s even an homage to Bob Ross, sometimes known as the Godfather of ASMR.

Trevor Yeung: Courtyard of Detachments at M+

Trevor Yeung returns to M+ this year with a new solo exhibition: Trevor Yeung: Courtyard of Attachments, Hong Kong in Venice. This installation explores the relationship between human and aquatic ecosystems and was restaged in a museum setting to also focus on larger environmental and systemic issues.

Diriyah is engineered as an immersive first “touchpoint” for visitors to Saudi Arabia, putting history and culture front and center. While still a work in progress, it is already a place that reflects the future of destination tourism spelled out in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. With enforced building codes dictated by the original Najdi villages of the region, it also serves as a more relaxed alternative to Riyadh’s futuristic downtown core.

Traditional business travelers are beholden to corporate travel policies, forced to book via a dedicated platform or with certain brands, and restricted by their employers’ duty of care. When it comes to entrepreneur travel, however, anything and everything is an option — and travel brands, from airlines to hotels and beyond are taking notice and adjusting their offerings accordingly.
