Hilton Worldwide announced the expansion of its Hilton Garden Inn brand with plans to introduce a new property to Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. Scheduled to open in mid-2017, the Hilton Garden Inn Al Khobar will be located in the center of Al Khobar close to King Fahd International Airport (DMM) and the famous King Fahd Causeway, a road bridge connecting Saudi Arabia with Bahrain. The property will feature 150 guestrooms, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, a business center, a lobby lounge, an all-day dining option and meeting and event space. “Al Khobar and the wider Dammam region in the Eastern Province is an exciting prospect for Hilton Worldwide. The region is enjoying rapid commercial and industrial expansion and if that trend is to continue then the demand for quality hotels will be key to the continued progress and prosperity of the city,” said Rudi Jagersbacher, president of Hilton Worldwide for Middle East & Africa.
