Hilton Hotels & Resorts grows its portfolio in the Bahamas with the addition of a new hotel at Resorts World Bimini, the world’s first cruise destination resort. Hilton at Resorts World Bimini becomes the second Hilton in the Bahamas, joining British Colonial Hilton Nassau.
“With its white-sand beaches, turquoise water and world-class casino, Hilton at Resorts World Bimini will be a premier destination in itself and an exciting addition to our portfolio of more than 550 hotels worldwide,” said Rob Palleschi, global head, full-service brands, Hilton Worldwide. “Our agreement with Resorts World Bimini is an excellent example of our commitment to growth in one of the region’s key leisure destinations.”
The newly built luxury marina hotel is slated to open officially this summer on North Bimini Island, approximately 50 miles off the South Florida coast. The resort’s dedicated cruise ship, Bimini SuperFast, will offer two- and three-night cruises from Port Miami three times per week. Passengers will have a choice of overnight accommodations aboard Bimini SuperFast or in one- or two-bedroom condos at Resorts World Bimini.
Recreational facilities at Resorts World Bimini include water sports, a world-class casino boasting water and marina views as well as live-action table gaming, trendy boutiques and multiple restaurants and bars.
