Heritage Line recently announced the highly anticipated return of its boutique ship Anouvong to the Upper Mekong River in Laos. After gaining attention last August, Heritage Line took the ship out of operation for refurbishment to make the sailing experience better than ever before. The newly refurbished Anouvong is set to make its return Jan. 1, 2025, inviting guests to experience a blend of traditional Laotian ambiance and French-Colonial elegance.

As stunning as the Upper Mekong, Anouvong stands out against Heritage Line’s seven boutique vessels in Southeast Asia. Major improvements include an upgrade to the sun deck, now sporting an outdoor Jacuzzi pool and refreshed shaded areas. A small gym has been introduced in the spa area, allowing sailors to get in a quick workout before a day of relaxing on the ship. Lastly, redesigned staterooms allow more comfortable stays for guests.
