Heathrow Express is set to launch discounted, off-peak fares in August. From Aug. 1, a $20 off-peak single fare or a $32 return will be available to passengers traveling between Heathrow and central London.
The fares, valid until Aug. 31 during off-peak times, include weekends and bank holidays. Peak times are Monday–Friday, 7–10 a.m., and 4–7 p.m. The summer fares can be booked through the Heathrow Express app, online or purchased on the day at the station.
“We’ve welcomed a record number of passengers onboard so far this year and this offer is another chance for people to enjoy the fastest way between Heathrow and London for less,” said Fraser Brown, director, Heathrow Express. “Together with our permanent offer of kids go free, families getting away this summer can experience the best customer service on trains in the region at great value.”
To complement the off-peak summer fare deal, Heathrow Express allows kids under 15 years of age to travel free. Kids can travel free in Express Class when accompanied by a paying adult, or unaccompanied if offering proof of air travel such as a valid flight booking or boarding pass. Kids can only travel free in Business First if accompanied by an adult with a purchased Business First ticket and cannot travel unaccompanied in Business First.
The trains offer guests at-seat power sockets, free WiFi, air conditioning and luggage storage.
