Hyatt celebrates the anticipated opening of the first Grand Hyatt hotel in the Philippines.

Grand Hyatt Manila is a 461-room luxury hotel, topping the tallest skyscraper in the Philippines at 1,043 feet — offering breathtaking views of the Makati skyline and Manila Bay.

“Taguig City is known as the home of the passionate minds, and is the perfect location for the Grand Hyatt brand as it continues to flourish with business and leisure travellers in the heart of cosmopolitan Manila,” said Gottfried Bogensperger, area vice president and general manager, Grand Hyatt Manila.

The hotel’s luxurious guestrooms boast a bold, dramatic design with rich earthy tones and maple flooring. Bathrooms are adorned with marble deep-soaking tubs. Conveniences include large wooden desks, 50-inch LCD TVs with Bluetooth surround-sound speakers, a fully stocked minibar, a bedside control panel and thermostat, a sizable lounge area and a walk-in closet. Rooms are flooded with natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows and mirrored walls.

Dining options include The Grand Kitchen, a multi-cuisine, all-day dining restaurant; No. 8 China House, a unique, informal option featuring Chinese specialties; and The Peak, a bi-level entertainment centre opening in mid-2018, featuring a bar and restaurant, as well as outdoor seating boasting 360-degree views of the city.

Other hotel perks include flexible event space; a 24-hour fitness centre with steam baths and a whirlpool; and the Illume Spa, opening March 1.
