Hyatt Hotels opened the first Grand Hyatt property in Greece last week, with the Grand Hyatt Athens. It is also the first Hyatt property across all brands in Athens.
“Athens is fast becoming the destination of choice where ancient history sits alongside modern coffee shops and rooftop bars,” said Nikos Trikourakis, general manager, Grand Hyatt Athens. “Our hotel will offer guests who seek first-class hospitality unforgettable experiences and a luxurious place to stay.”
The property offers 309 guestrooms, including 32 suites, a Presidential suite, a Royal suite and four Grand Executive suites. Guestrooms offer views of the Acropolis, city and landscaped gardens. Suite and club room guests enjoy access to the Grand Club Lounge.
The hotel, which features ancient Athens-inspired art, boasts an outdoor pool with views of the Acropolis. The famous site is just a short walk away, while golf courses and beaches are within driving distance.
Dining options include a rooftop restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine and the Aphrodite lobby lounge and bar. Fitness amenities include an indoor heated pool, sauna, Turkish bath opening next year and four treatment rooms.
