In-flight WiFi is frustrating enough with inconsistent service and slow speeds without the hassle of signing in and out of paid service when you want to switch devices. Gogo is easing some of the frustration, now offering subscribers an option to upgrade to a two-device plan. Instead of signing in and out of devices, the new plan allows travelers to be connected to in-flight internet service on two WiFi-enabled devices simultaneously.
The $49.95 Monthly Airline Plan subscription can be upgraded to a two-device monthly plan for $10 more per month. For the time being, the upgrade is only available for individual flights, not for the Monthly Multi-Airline Plan, so Gogo users will have to choose between American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and other participating airlines.
Visit the Gogo website to upgrade. It only takes a day or two, and Gogo will notify you when it has been activated.
