Yardley, Pa., Oct. 8, 2013 – Global Traveler, the only monthly magazine for business and luxury travelers, announces the appointment of Felix Cheng as regional manager, Asia.
Cheng will be responsible for coordinating advertising sales efforts in Asia and for managing various independent sales representatives throughout Asia. Cheng has a marketing degree, is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin and has past experience selling advertising and B-to-B services in Asia.
“It is imperative Global Traveler has an on-the-ground presence in Asia, and Felix is the perfect candidate,” said Francis X. Gallagher, publisher and CEO. “His varied experience and skills will help us further develop our business opportunities in the Asian region.”
Prior to Global Traveler, Cheng worked for a U.K.-based logistics publishing company as a senior sales executive, covering Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand and the Philippines. He is a proven leader in finding, developing and managing new business throughout the region. He also has sales experience in a number of industries,
including upholstery, leather and fabrics; security; furnishings and technology.
