From neon-lit skyscrapers to historic temples, Japan’s capital city captures many eras of civilization. With an estimated city-proper population of 14 million (37 million in the Greater Tokyo Area), Tokyo boasts the Imperial Palace, many museums, theaters, gardens and parks, stadiums, and libraries. Various festivals, such as Ueno Cherry Blossom Festival, celebrate the beauty, history and culture of Tokyo.

GETTING THERE & AROUND
Two airports operate in the city: Haneda Airport and Narita International Airport. Haneda Airport features three terminals and serves major airlines such as American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Japan Airlines, United Airlines and All Nippon Airways. Reach the city center by train via Tokyo Monorail, Keikyu Airport Line to Singagawa for easy access to Tokyo, a limousine bus or taxi.
