The cruise line launches Wellness Expeditions Voyages aboard Silver Discoverer to offer guests the opportunity to improve their wellbeing while traveling to destinations off the beaten path in Southeast Asia, Australia, Oceania, Africa and the Indian Ocean.

While discovering exotic locations, unique wildlife and new cultures, guests can enjoy the comprehensive and complimentary wellness program Silversea partnered with Technogym to create. Amenities include stretching, yoga and Pilates classes both onboard and ashore, depending on the location; fitness classes in the ship’s swimming pool; a complimentary spa massage treatment; and gym sessions from personal trainers with state-of-the-art Technogym fitness equipment.

In addition, cruisers have the chance to learn the benefits of healthy and balanced nutrition during daily lectures and cooking demonstrations and are accompanied by a dedicated team of wellness specialists.

Upcoming cruises aboard Silver Discoverer include a 14-day voyage from Cairns to Balikpapan, Indonesia, sailing Oct. 4–18, and an 11-day journey from Balikpapan to Singapore, taking place Oct 18–29 in 2016, as well as a 14-day voyage from Bangladesh to Myanmar, an 11-day journey sailing the Kimberley Coast and a 14-day trip in Micronesia and the Solomon Sea in 2017.
