Hilton Hotels becomes the latest hospitality company to offer free WiFi, with plans to provide the complimentary service for all members of its Hilton HHonors loyalty program later this year. Beginning in the second quarter, HHonors Diamond members will receive complimentary premium WiFi at all Hilton properties when they book directly through a proprietary Hilton channel, such as the Hilton HHonors app, any of the corporate brand websites or through one of the company’s corporate travel partners. Starting in August, HHonors Blue and Silver members will receive free standard WiFi. Hilton joins Loews Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Starwood Hotels & Resorts in offering the amenity free of charge.
