Passengers at Germany’s largest aviation hub, Frankfurt Airport, are now offered more comfort and convenience with the addition of Fraport’s new Check-In To Gate Service. With this service, a trained service assistant picks passengers up at a pre-agreed meeting place in the terminal. After taking care of their bags and check-in process for them, the service assistant then escorts passengers through a separate security checkpoint and, if necessary, through passport control.
The service costs about $94 for up to four people traveling on the same flight, regardless of their airline and booking class. To book FRA’s Check-In To Gate Service, reservations must be made via FRA’s portal at least 48 hours before departure, though bookings at shorter notice may be possible upon request.
The Check-In To Gate Service at Frankfurt Airport is part of the “Great to have you here!” service quality program launched by Fraport AG, the owner and manager of FRA, focused on continually enhancing the travel experience at Germany’s largest aviation hub. Other services under this program include the Frankfurt Airport App 2.0 and free 24-hour WiFi offered in the passenger terminals.
