Friendsgiving has emerged as a growing holiday trend, bringing together friends as a replacement or addition to family-focused Thanksgiving festivities. This month marks the U.S. arrival of Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Harmony of the Seas. To celebrate the anniversary, the cruise line is creating the ultimate onboard friendsgiving party.
Royal Caribbean is taking the holiday to the next level by transforming an exclusive VIP sailing, Nov. 10–12, into the ultimate celebration. The ship is customizing Friendsgiving menus and cocktails and challenging guests and their friends on Harmony’s thrills — sliding down the 10-story Ultimate Abyss, surfing the Flowrider, rock climbing and non-stop entertainment and dining.
The party will conclude with an exclusive live performance by DNCE, the multi-platinum selling band, performing songs from their highly anticipated album set to release next Friday.
Earlier this month, the cruise line began giving several pairs of lucky friends the chance to win their trip onboard to join in on the festivities in partnership with Thrillist Media Group.
