The mysterious, colorful landscape of Bodrum, Turkey is the setting for a new series of holistic wellness retreats planned for this spring. Each will be hosted at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum by health expert and author Jennifer Thompson and Indian doctor Yogesh Prabhakaran, a specialist in Ayurvedic medicine.
From April 13–27, three- and five-day Discover Ayurveda with Dr. Yogesh retreats are available. Days are built around Ayurvedic diet and lifestyles consultations, yoga and meditation. Massage therapy includes such traditional treatments as Indian head massage, abhyanga massage, a shirodhara oil treatment, herbal pouch therapy and assorted a la carte sessions.
From May 15–28, three- and seven-day Healthy Living with Jennifer Thompson retreats include detox treatments, skin and body analysis, yoga, meditation, regenerative spa therapies, daily nutrition talks and films on health, and optional private iridology sessions. Prices for three-day retreats begins at €895 (about $980), including single accommodation, VAT and breakfast.
