EVA Air recently debuted a new website using Responsive Web Design technology to deliver consistent information services on different devices for better mobility on the go. A new graphic user interface allows for easier and more convenient operating functions. The EVA Mobile App has biometric recognition technology to allow passengers to log in faster and more easily.
The website will serve customers globally with 12 different language selections, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and more. Last year, EVA updated its mobile app, allowing users to scan passports and making it easier to check in online and add boarding passes, before adding the recent biometric technology mentioned above.
The new website design is inspired by the smiling curve of the wings of its Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Straight lines were replaced by “lively curves” to make information more fluid and vivid. Bright background colors make information easier to read. It took more than two years to develop the new website using the latest webpage design technology.
