Etihad Airways’ newly refurbished first- and business-class lounge at Abu Dhabi Airport International Airport Terminal 1 is receiving guests.
Located in Terminal 1, the 11,238-square-foot facility seats up to 134 guests in stylish setting featuring design elements inspired by the Etihad’s new branding.
“This upgraded lounge embodies the contemporary design, attention to detail and customer focus synonymous with Etihad Airways,” said Shane O’Hare, senior vice president marketing, Etihad Airways. “Our guests traveling from and transiting through Abu Dhabi Terminal 3, and now Terminal 1, will start their journey with a superior lounge experience in a stylish and well-equipped environment where they can relax and re-charge.”
Open 24 hours a day, the new T1 Premium Lounge offers a range of facilities catering to the diverse needs of today’s business and leisure travelers. The upgraded facility features comfortable armchairs, a dedicated dining area, state-of-the-art business amenities, complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity, USB power outlets, bathrooms with shower facilities, and a playroom for children.
The on-site Six Senses Spa at the lounge has also been completely refurbished. Lounge guests are invited to use the spa prior to boarding to enjoy a complimentary 15-minute spa session, with a range of other treatments available by appointment. Lounge guests may also partake of Etihad Airways’ signature food and beverage service with a choice of restaurant-style dining, an extensive buffet and a variety of beverages.
The T 1 Premium Lounge at Abu Dhabi International Airport is open to Etihad Airways’ first- and business-class passengers, qualifying Platinum Etihad Guest members and the equivalent tier loyalty program members of Etihad Airways Partner airlines flying from Abu Dhabi.
