James Viles, one of Australia’s most respected chefs and restaurateurs, heads back to Bamurru Plains in March 2024 for a four-day, hands-on culinary safari. During the safari, guests sample native ingredients and wild bush flavors distinct to this Australian Top End habitat and ecosystem. Known for his approach to food, in which he promotes a sustainable and respectful food culture, James shares the same beliefs with the Bamurru Plains, a Wild Bush Luxury Experience.

Bamurru Plains is located on a private property east of Darwin and borders Kakadu National Park. It lies just a three-hour drive or a 30-minute scenic flight from Darwin. Guestsfly over some of the most stunning wetlands in the world. A 12-room safari lodge occupies part of a buffalo station on the Mary River floodplains and offers unique diversity, wildlife and birdlife.
